Pre 1973

This 37 chevy coupe has a few restorer guys pissed.Came out of a car collection in Calif.

It was time to start stripping it and adding some HP. Fab up a mustang II type front end.

Used a 350 ramjet crate motor and new richmond 4 speed after all REAL hot rods have 3 pedals.I adapted the old corvette valve cover to the new style heads to disguise it a bit. I tried real hard to not kill it with chrome but it did have ice cold air and a few of my own ideas. No this was traditional not a pile lf cobled up crap of E-bay.

I built a brandnew 9 inch ford on my jig for it so the tires fit perfect and the rear was dead nuts straight. You cant get them straight with out a jig. I fix other shops messes all the time. Notice the 37 Nash in the back ground.One of mine.

I added a power brake booster in the trunk.....I HATE master cyl and booster on the firewall. Almost all rods i build are under floor.

Thanks Ed. It was a fun car to build(no used parts all new) . Its sad i dont know what happened to it as the owner passed away. He did call me a year after it had been finished, just before he passed and told me what fun he had with it......
